How it works

Built between sets

I train five days a week, and every tracker I tried wanted more attention than the workout itself. Ironbor comes from those gym floors: pick a routine, tap your reps in, and get back to the bar. It quietly keeps score — your records, your weekly volume, your streak — so progress is something you see, not something you bookkeep.

Your routines 3 ready-made templates, plus your own — start training in one tap.
Stats & records Personal records and weekly progress, quietly kept.
Rest timer A Live Activity countdown right on your Lock Screen.

Features

What it does

Fast set logging

Reps, weight, done — logging a set takes a tap, not a form.

Workout templates

Three ready-made routines out of the box, and an editor for your own.

Personal records

PRs are spotted and saved automatically as you train.

History & progress charts

Weekly volume, workouts per week, and each exercise's trend over time.

Lock Screen rest timer

A Live Activity counts your rest down without unlocking the phone.

Kilograms or pounds

Metric or imperial, switched in a setting — history converts with you.

Under the hood

How it's built

Native iOS in Swift and SwiftUI, built for iOS 26. Instead of view models, each feature is a small unidirectional loop — @Observable state, signals, and focused use cases — with dependencies injected via swift-dependencies so everything stays testable (140 test files and counting). Workouts live in SwiftData, the rest timer runs as an ActivityKit Live Activity, and progress is drawn with Swift Charts.

FAQ

Good to know

Yes — the core tracker is free: log your workouts, use the three ready-made routines plus up to three of your own, and keep your records and streaks. An optional Ironbor Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) adds unlimited custom routines, detailed stats and trends, the full calendar history, and animated exercise demos.
It's in active development and I train with it myself. No date promised — it ships when the daily logging loop feels genuinely good.
iPhone, on iOS 26 and newer. The rest timer lives on the Lock Screen as a Live Activity.
